MBFW Tbilisi Fall Season 23/24

Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Tbilisi put the capital in the international spotlight. The event returned physically after the pandemic and brought back the attention, admiration, and interest of the global community once again. It took place from the 4^th of May until the 8^th of May and created a dazzling fashion spotlight with an impressive lineup of 20 talented designers.

The invited international press, buyers, and fashion experts fully immersed themselves in the captivating experience of witnessing 20 exceptional and distinctive fashion shows that flawlessly captured the essence of the fall/winter season. The distinguished guests enjoyed runway shows that had depth and storytelling to the runway.

Alongside the fashion shows, MBFW Tbilisi also hosted events such as presentations and panel discussions with eminent people in the fashion industry. As well as hosted two international design contests: BeNext and the Georgian Fashion Foundation.

BeNext international design contest focuses on emerging talent and giving the contestants visibility, support, mentorship, and job opportunities internationally. Even though there was a tough competition and an abundance of talent, the prominent jury still made a decision and announced the winners of the BeNext 2023 – who received prestigious prizes and study as well as job opportunities in the LVMH.

Georgian Fashion Foundation, on the other hand, aims to provide financial and business support for established designers and brands. This year, GFF gave an exceptional opportunity to its participants and the fashion enthusiasts and experts had the pleasure to see the designers on the MBFW Tbilisi runway too.
