The 28th Tbilisi International Book Festival

From May 29–31, 2026, Tbilisi will host one of the country’s largest literary events — the 28th Tbilisi International Book Festival. This year, the festival will take place at the cultural center Factory Tbilisi, which will open its doors to readers, literature enthusiasts, and cultural audiences from across Georgia and beyond.

Traditionally, the festival brings together Georgian and international authors, publishers, translators, educators, children, teenagers, students, entrepreneurs, and book lovers within a diverse cultural and educational program.
The festival’s official opening ceremony will be held on May 29 at 11:00 AM, organized by the Georgian Publishers and Booksellers Association. Throughout the three-day event, visitors will have the opportunity to attend book presentations, meetings with authors, panel discussions, literary performances, educational workshops, and children’s activities.
